Moh Pribadi presented 2 papers in Arabic, "Al-Ma'na al-ijtima'i lin nusus al-adabiyah al-Indunisiyyah wal 'arabiyyah..." and "Discussion of Ibn Khaldun School of Sociology ", meanwhile Dr Witriani presented a paper entitled "Women in the Circle of Evil, a study of horror films in Indonesia", and Dr. Jarot Wahyudi presented a paper with the theme "Coexistence in the Qur'an". The symposium, which was attended by more than 100 academics from 14 countries and universities, was the realisation of collaboration between Kirikkale Universitesi, the University of Azerbaijan and the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences (FADIB) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The first symposium was held in Azerbaijan in 2022, the second was in Turkey in 2023, and Insha Allah, the third will be at UIN Sunan Kalijaga in 2024.

This symposium was motivated by the idea that the future of humanity will be better if it is based on the principles of peace, especially among Muslims. Throughout the history of Islamic civilisation, there have always been differences between Muslims caused by differences in life experiences, traditions and culture, which sometimes give rise to divisions and prolonged conflicts that became a collective memory of religious communities. Based on the thoughts above, the practice of coexistence needs to be considered and evaluated in various aspects according to current conditions. This aims to identify what roles can be taken now as well as possible roles that can be taken in the future. In this case, the practice of coexistence has an important place in the policy traditions between nations and the Islamic religion in particular.

100 papers from academics were successfully presented at this symposium. They contributed thoughts and ideas from their respective perspectives, which essentially led to a common ground that the future of humanity would be better if it is based on the awareness of living together and helping each other to create peace. All religions teach their adherents to work together to build a world civilisation that will prosper humanity, respect each other, be mature in facing differences, be tolerant and recognise each other's existence and coexistence. As a follow-up to the first and second symposiums, participants agreed to hold a third symposium at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in 2024. Above all, this symposium can be used as a medium for academic gatherings for academics from various universities and institutions so that their ideas can be realised in real action, namely contributing to building a more prosperous future for the civilisation of the people.
