On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with PT. LKiS Pelangi Aksara. This event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences Dr. Muhammad Wildan, M.A., Vice Dean III Dr. Sujadi M.A., and the secretary of the Arabic Language and Literature study program Moh. Wakhid Hidayat, S.S., M.A. representing witnesses from the Faculty of Adab. Meanwhile, the LKiS assigned the Director of PT. LKiS Akhmad Fikri and Muhlasin as witnesses.

The event, which started at 10.00, was started with the perception of the draft cooperation agreement letter, then continued with the signing and casual discussion regarding areas of cooperation that might be realized in the near future. On this occasion, Akhmad Fikri said that he was focusing on campaigning for the use of Javanese script, the study of Javanese script, and the Javanese scripts. This was welcomed by the Dean considering that the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences through the Islamic History and Culture Study Program and the Master in the History of Islamic Civilization had the same enthusiasm to focus on them. According to the Dean, this kind of ideal has actually been around for a long time in the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies, but so far it has not been maximized. The event closed with the submission of the UIN Sunan Kalijaga calendar which featured a Javanese script design.
