The faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences held a forum of alumni users on 23 June 2022 in Meeting Room Lt. 2. It was a yearly agenda as a part of the working plan of the faculty for students and relationship affairs. This year, the program focused on sharing information between the faculty and alumni users regarding the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka policy. The event was carried out both online and offline with around 20 attendants including the head of program studies, some lecturers, and alumni from each program study.

On this occasion, the faculty invited four speakers that were divided into two sessions. In the first session, Dr. Hartono from Bung Karno Library and Soemarni Wijayanti, S.Pd. from Radya Pustaka Museum as the keynoters andMarwiyah, S.Ag., S.S., M.LIS. as the moderator. Both of them suggest hard and soft skills that should be acquired by the alumni to have an opportunity to work in Radya Pustaka Museum and Bung Karno Library. In addition to this, the speakers have opened a mutual relationship between their institution and the faculty related to the apprenticeship program for the MBKM curriculum.

The speaker of the second session was Bagus Hendraning Kobarsyih, S.IP, M.Si from the directory of Middle-East of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and moderated byDrs. Musthofa, M.A. In this session, he asserts that the alumni of the Arabic and Literature program and the alumni of FADIB have a huge chance to work and apprentice in this ministry by sending emails and other official procedures.

The third session presented Indra Listyo, M.M., M.Hum from Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia (HPI) as a speaker and was led byDwi Margo Yuwono. He states that both students and alumni have opportunities to join this association. Moreover, by joining HPI, they will acquire insight into translation, and pieces of training, and interact with professional translators.
