Enhancing of quality standards of the faculty is accomplished by fostering both major performance indicators (IKU) and additional performance indicators (IKT). Moreover, strengthening the quality assurance system of UIN Sunan Kalijaga is carried out through external benchmarking programs. The Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences was conducting a benchmarking by visiting the Edebiyat Fakültesi at Istanbul University on June 22th, 2022.

At this event, the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Muhammad Wildan, MA., was welcomed by the Dean of the Edebiyat Fakültesi, Prof. Dr. Hayati Develi dan Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Sevtap Kadioğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zekai Kardaş. In this meeting forum, they discuss partnership possibilities to advance the quality of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences.

The Edebiyat Fakültesi has 21 studies programs and has opened partnership chances to the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences in many areas, such as conducting international conferences, research, and publication for the international journal and granting scholarships for the students as well as students and lecturers exchange program. Interestingly, the Edebiyat Fakültesi plans to provide a Bahasa Indonesia study program. Therefore, it allows the faculty members of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences to become guess lecturers in this university in conducting both online and online learning.

Furthermore, the Edebiyat Fakültesi of Istanbul University directly contacted the international department of the university dealing with the MoU signing between the rectors and then continued at the faculty level.
