Enhancing of quality standards of the faculty is accomplished by fostering both major performance indicators (IKU) and additional performance indicators (IKT). Moreover, strengthening the quality assurance system of UIN Sunan Kalijaga is carried out through external benchmarking programs. The Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences was conducting a benchmarking by visiting the Ilahiyat Faculty at Istambul University and Marmara University, Istanbul, on June 20-21th, 2022.

At this event, the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Muhammad Wildan, MA., and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ubaidillah, M.Hum., had been visiting some study programs in both universities. They came and saw the History and Arts department, which is as same as the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences in both universities. These universities were established a thousand years ago and have international reputations.

These visits and discussions on partnership opportunities are significant in advancing the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences in the future. Furthermore, the sharing discussions on students and lecturers exchange both online and offline open opportunities for the faculty to get the international quality level in the future.
