The Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences held the commencement ceremony for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic. It took place on the 2nd floor of Prof. Sunarjo, SH, Room on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, from 08.00 to 12.00 WIB. On this occasion, Muhammad Fachruriza, a line producer freelance in the film industry in the city of Yogyakarta, became the main speaker and was hosted by Riswinarno, S.S., M.M. with the theme “Building Privilege to Survive in Digital Era.”

Dr. Muhammad Wildan, MA, the Dean of faculty, opened this event by giving a remark, followed by Dr. Ubaidillah, SS., and M. Hum., the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.

The audience, who are the prospective alumni, got pretty useful materials on what strategies to build a successful career. Mas Riza, his nickname, said it is hard to create a bright future. He stated that it is significant to have a good willingness, confidence, courage, and readiness to support our career, particularly in this digital era.

After telling about his career journey in the production house, he said that everything was hard and toward many challenges at the beginning. Moreover, he suggests that Alumni should have an open mindset and be willing to try new things because opportunities and knowledge are invaluable in human life. In the end, he asserted that it is crucial to focus on goals because it is a key to every step of the journey and should be in the right corridor. The event ran successfully.
