Lecturers have a pivotal role due to their duties in conducting learning processes in the higher educational institution. Their responsibilities are not only in teaching but also in many areas regarding improving the institution quality, including faculty accreditation, lecturer functional position issues, and others. For the lecturers, it is crucial to improve writing academic skills. Therefore, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences of UIN Sunan Kalijaga held an Academic Writing Training Series on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 09.00 to 11.00 WIB, located on the 1st floor of the theatrical room of the Faculty. The speaker was Suefrizal, S.Ag., M.S.I., Head of the Academic Division of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and was hosted by Dr. Ubaidillah, SS, M.Hum.

It was the first session of the Academic Writing Series. The speaker gave more attention to data entry techniques in Academic System and excel format. During the discussion, there were many questions from the lecturers. Some others asked for the solution to difficulties that occurred in filling the data frequently. In addition, this dialogue brought benefits to the lecturers for their academic careers. It also gave the solutions to some difficulties when filling in the data.
