Signing on Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences and its Partners in implementing the Program of Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka)

On Thursday, March 29, 2022, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences of UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a meeting with its partners which consisted of 19 institutions in Yogyakarta and Central Java. For the faculty itself, this cooperation was designed to implement three obligations of higher education in Indonesia especially by implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka policy.

The event was attended by the faculty leaders, the heads of Study Programs and Secretaries, and some representative staffs. The meeting was located in Theatrical Room, in 1st Floor of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences. The 19 institutions are below:

3. SMK N 1 Sedayu Bantul
4. STTKD Yogyakarta
5. SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta
6. STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta
7. BBPMPPV Agriculture
8. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta
9. AAG Adisutjipto Aviation Vocational School, Yogyakarta
10. Muhammadiyah University of Magelang
11. Janabadra University
12. SMA-IT Abu Bakar Boarding School Kulon Progo
13. UNU Yogyakarta
14. SMAN 5 Yogyakarta
15. Muhammadiyah University of Gombong
16. UNISA Yogyakarta
17. Diponegoro Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta
18. Alimdad Islamic Boarding School, Bantul Yogyakarta
19. Nurul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta

Based on this meeting, some agreements have been approved including:

1. Education/Teaching Sector: strengthening and developing the competence of lecturers/students/educational staff and supporting events organized by both parties)
2. Research area: collaborative research, scientific publications, conferences, and curriculum design
3. Society Services: supporting social events, internships/student services, and lecturer service)

With this agreement, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences and the 19 partners could carry out beneficial between the two in developing various scopes of cooperation as stated in the cooperation agreement.
