WELCOME TO GUEST LECTURER FROM AL-AZHAR EGYPT

AT FACULTY OF ADAB AND CULTURAL SCIENCES

In order to welcome new semester and with the greatest gratitude, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences welcomed guest lecturer from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. This event was attended by dean, head of administration sections, all heads of study programs and the secretaries in this faculty. This activity was opened by the dean, Mr. Dr. Muhammad Wildan, M.A. then followed by remarks from the guest lecturer (mab'uts) Al-Azhar namely Dr. Abdellah Mansoer Mohamed Hassan. First and Second Deputy deans also gave warm welcomes to the presence of this Egyptian guest lecturer because it will improve the atmosphere of learning Arabic in UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This guest lecturer is home based at the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences and He plans to teach for the next three years at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

All heads of study programs and the secretaries also warmly welcomed the presence of Dr. Abdellah Mansoer. Hopefully the existence of this mab'uts will not only be useful for undergraduate and master's degree for Arabic Literatures program, but also for all study programs. During this program, Dr. Abdellah Mansoer teaches according to his majors theys are linguistics and Arabic grammar and also Tahfidzul Qur'anil al-Karim because he is a hafidz. He completed his studies from the B.A. M.A. and Ph.D. levels at Al-Azhar, Egypt. The dean also said that the higher international relations would greatly improve the faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies and also UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
