Monday, October 04, 2021, 17 students who took part in the competition at the ADIA Fest 2021 received an award from the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences. The event, which was organized by UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as the host of ADIA, was held from July 1 to September 16, 2021. In this event, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences through its students managed to bring home 3 championship titles and 3 expected winners. The event, which took place both offline and online at the same time, was short and solemn.
The students who won the winners were: Dedi Irawan (1st Place in Scientific Writing), Osama Ahmad, Muhammad Zulfikar al-Kautsar, Muhammad Ikhlasun Haq (3rd Place in Short Film), Ulfiatul Amalia, Tara Mutiara Sari, Arina Afrochatul Husnia (3rd Place in Poem Musical), Mahfudz Siddiq, Furqan Ubaidillah, Muhammad Ihsan (Expected Winner 1 Short Film), Alifah Nailar Rohmah, Andri Yuli Setiyani, Binti Lu'luil Maknunah, Nila Khariroh, Siti Fahimatul Nurul Ilma (Expected Winner 1 Traditional dance).
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences conveyed his congratulations and pride to the students who won the championship. According to the Dean, this kind of event is actually an example of a forum for students to display their skills in fields other than the field of study that they are engaged in. These skills and expertise other than the field of science will be an added value for the students themselves. Not infrequently this kind of added value is one of the important considerations in the competition for the world of work and the selection of study scholarships. It is not uncommon for this added value to become the main skill. That's why competitions like this are important. The event then ended with a photo with student representatives who attended offline.
