In order to better understand the current situation in Tunisia after the Arab spring, Bi-Weekly Forum #22 Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a virtual seminar with the theme "Islam, Politics and Democratization in Tunisia" with speakers who are very qualified in their fields, namely Samia, Kotele, MA (Ph.D. candidate of Lyon Institute of East Asian Studies, France).
He talked about the Tunisian state which has similarities with Indonesia from one social aspect, the regeneration of a clogged civil society, the political agreement between Ennahda, Ghannouchi, Nidaa Tounes, Pour Caid Essebsi and civil society that persists under pressure.
This virtual seminar was attended by lecturers and students both from the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences and from outside the Faculty. The discussion, which was held on Friday, December 3, 2021, was moderated by a lecturer in Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Dr. Andi Holilulloh, S.Pd.I., MA
