The Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences conducted Study Programs’ Socialization to Islamic Boarding Schools in Lampung

To spread information on its study programs to various regions outside Java, the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta carried out socialization in various Islamic boarding schools located in Lampung province.

Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ubaidillah, SS., M. Hum. , who is in charge of conveying the socialization of the study programs, visited several Islamic boarding schools from November 8^th to 12^th , 2021. This short time was used to convey information on study programs under the auspices of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Studies at three Islamic boarding schools or educational institutions in Lampung Province, namely Ma'had Al-Kahfi Banjarejo Batanghari East Lampung, Pondok Pesantren Al-Ishlah Sukadamai Natar South Lampung, and Maárif NU Foundation Banjarsari Metro City.

Socialization to Islamic boarding schools was carried out to get input for prospective students who already have general knowledge and religion at the same time. In addition, the life skills they have acquired at the Islamic boarding school will make it easier for them to adapt to the campus world.

Drs. H. Bunyamin DS, as the caretaker of Ma'had Al-Kahfi Batanghari, East Lampung, hopes that with this socialization, the students will be more enthusiastic to strive towards a higher level of education.
