Dissemination of Library and Library Science Books in Islamic History and Civilization (Classic, Medieval, Modern)
Friday, November 5th, 2021, Bi-Weekly Forum #19 Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a book dissemination on Library and Library Science in Islamic History (Classic, Middle, Modern). This time, the Bi-Weekly Forum invited Dr. Nurul Hak, M. Hum. as a resource person and accompanied by Dra. Soraya Adnani, M.Sc., both of whom are lecturers from the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences, UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
The Library and Library Science Book in Islamic History and Civilization (Classic, Medieval, Modern) was written by Dr. Nurul Hak, M. Hum. which came from teaching materials for graduate students of the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Program with Concentration of Library and Information Sciences. The scope of this book is quite broad, ranging from Islamic libraries and libraries from the BC Period to Modern Era. On the other hand, this book is an essay that also discusses related to history, there is also an explanation of the origins of Science (Science), because it has a relationship with library in general and Islamic library in particular.
It is hoped that with the Bi-Weekly Forum of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences which examined Library and Library Science Book in Islamic History and Civilization (Classic, Medieval, Modern), participants (students, librarians, and lecturers) can build relationships and connection with other people, this activity was also expected to develop insight related to science and the history of Library and Islamic civilization.
