UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library Sciences Lecturer Presents Research at 10th I-LISS International Conference, UiTM Malaysia

SHAH ALAM — Lecturer from the Library and Information Science (LIS) Department at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Dr. Thoriq Tri Prabowo, featured as a presenter at the 10th International Conference on Library and Information Science (I-LISS) hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia.

At the conference, Dr. Thoriq presented a collaborative research paper co-authored with researchers from KMITL Thailand (Jirarat Sitthiworachart & Kanyarat Sriwisathiyakun), titled "From needs to design: A peer assessment activity for enhancing digital learning wellbeing in LIS curricula".

The mixed-methods study developed a Canvas LMS-based Peer Assessment model designed to boost students' digital skills and digital learning wellbeing. Based on a survey of 900 students and evaluations from 5 experts, the proposed intervention proved to be highly effective, flexible, and successful in driving student engagement.

This research was supported by the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences at UIN Sunan Kalijaga reinforcing the university's commitment to international academic collaboration.
