Establishing
collaborative partnerships within an institution, particularly in the field of
education, is one of the key factors in enhancing the quality and standards of
education. Much like individuals, educational institutions cannot stand alone;
they require cooperation with other institutions, both within the same region
and internationally, in order to create a more advanced and globally oriented
educational environment.
One
institution that continues to actively develop and expand collaborations both
domestically and internationally is the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences
of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. In recent times, the faculty has consistently
worked toward improving educational quality and expanding its international
partnerships. On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Faculty once again carried out
an academic collaboration initiative with a well-known institution from abroad,
namely Ufa University of Science and Technology, Russia.
“Ufa
University of Science and Technology is one of the leading universities in
Russia and globally. Russia itself is a unique country as it spans two
continents, Asia and Europe. Our university hosts more than 4,000 international
students from various countries such as Uzbekistan, Colombia, China, and
others. I am very pleased to visit and be warmly welcomed at UIN Sunan Kalijaga
Yogyakarta,” said Grigorieva Tatiana, one of the Heads of Department at Ufa
University of Science and Technology. She added that building cooperation among
institutions in Asia is one of the best strategies for advancing knowledge in
the field of education.
This
initiative was also warmly welcomed by the Faculty of Adab and Cultural
Sciences of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, represented during the event by the
Vice Dean I, Dr. Nurul Haq, S.Ag., S.S., M.A. In his remarks, he emphasized the
importance for institutions to continuously establish collaborations across
various fields as part of efforts to improve the quality of education.
