Bi-Weekly Forum #34 the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences UIN Sunan Kalijaga presented Prof. Martha C. Beck, Ph.D. from Lyon College, Arkansas, USA on Friday, 20 September, 2022. The theme was Humanities and Cultural Studies as a Bridge between Reason and Faith as the Necessary Foundation for Democratic. The discussion was conducted both by online and offline.  

On this occasion, moderated by Febriyanti D. Lestari, a lecturer of the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences, the speaker tried to explore the role of cultural studies and humanities in bridging reason and revelation as the basis for building a democratic society, particularly in Indonesia.
